Cancellation Policy:

Free cancellation is available until 2 days (48 hours) before arrival. Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 2 days before arrival.

For bookings of 30 days or more, guests must notify the Guest House within 1-2 weeks of their intent to cancel or depart earlier. Failure to provide such notice will result in guests being liable for a reservation amount equivalent to at least one week’s stay or the duration of their stay, if longer than one week.

Deposit Policy:

No deposit is required to secure a booking. Guests pay the full amount before their stay.

Maximum Occupancy:

Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy limits as specified during booking. Exceeding these limits may result in additional charges or refusal of accommodation.

Standard Timings:

• Check-In: Available 24 hours
• Check-Out: From 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Late Check-Out/Early Check-In: Requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Guests must contact the Guest House in advance to arrange.

Accepted Payment Methods:

• Third-party platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb, and LekkeSlaap
• For in-house payments, we may use our Card machine or cash

Currency and Taxes:

All prices are inclusive of a 15% VAT (Value-Added Tax). Payment is accepted in South African Rand (ZAR) only.

Non-Payment:

Failure to settle outstanding balances prior to departure may result in additional fees or legal action to recover the owed amount.

Rules for Guests:

• Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the premises. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
• Quiet Hours: Guests are expected to maintain quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
• Pets Policy: Pets are not allowed on the property.
• Children: Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially in the pool area.
• Alcohol and Substances: Consumption of illegal substances is prohibited. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas, such as the bar.

Damage or Loss:

Guests are liable for any damage caused to the property or loss of items during their stay. Charges for repairs or replacements will be billed to the guest. Milk and Honey Guest House is not liable for lost or stolen personal items. Guests are encouraged to secure valuables.

Conduct:

Guests must behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and the property. Disruptive or abusive behavior may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Additional Charges: Extra services, such as laundry, special meal requests, or additional housekeeping, may incur additional charges.

Housekeeping:

Daily housekeeping is provided for stays shorter than 7 days. For longer stays, housekeeping is provided weekly, with additional services available upon request at an extra cost.

Milk and Honey Guest House collects guest information solely for processing reservations and ensuring a comfortable stay. This includes names, contact details, and booking details as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services: We utilize third-party platforms for booking and payment processing. Each platform has its own privacy policies, which guests are encouraged to review.

Guests must comply with all health and safety regulations, including fire safety rules and pool safety guidelines.

Milk and Honey Guest House reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay if a guest poses a health or safety risk to others.

Milk and Honey Guest House is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or government restrictions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
